To coordinates all O&M activities in IGRF and ensures 100% operational uptime and equipment/devices availability and ensures all personnel/contractors work in accordance with 7E operational philosophy/QHSSE policies
Responsibilities
Oversees the process plant and supervises operations in accordance with 7E values, policies, procedures, business conduct practices, and to accepted oil/gas field practices.
Responsible for the safe and efficient running of IGRF operations and report to operations supervisor on board.
Responsible for accurate daily process plant/meter reading, and documentation and maintaining cordial relations with clients, contractors, JV partners, and customers.
Ensures operations are carried out as a team effort with subordinates being adequately motivated to carry out their individual responsibilities effectively.
Ensures the quality of gas export to customers meets the contractual specification.
Coordinating departmental activities to ensure high-quality service is delivered.
Manage issuing and revalidation of PTW System.
Ensure that equipment/devices are functioning properly and report all malfunctioning equipment/devices to operation supervisor and follow up with repairs.
Review job procedures with Operations Supervisor from manufacturer’s operating manual to suit our operation.
Ensures operations reports are done in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsible for the continual improvement of operations including suggesting modifications to plant equipment to improve efficiency.
Supervise and oversee work done by subordinates on and off shift.
Coordinate the activities during an emergency shutdown.
Assist in developing planned shutdown procedures during turn-around maintenance (TAN).
Ensures that all spare parts required for all aspects of the operations are available in sufficient quantity in the warehouse.
Ensure IGRF databases are maintained and updated accordingly.
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual process plant reports for final compilation by Operations Supervisor.
Maintain a safe, clean working environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established HSE Policies and procedures.
Ensures all PM schedules are carried out as at when dues and documented accordingly.
Ensures 100% availability/reliability of all process equipment/devices.
Maintains good working relationships by following company policies on Employee responsibility.
Supervise, ensure, and oversee process control room activities.
Review all operational set-points and ensures there are within a safe operating envelope.
Ensure fault register and by-pass logbook are updated.
Ensures custody transfer meter is functional and accurate within the acceptable range.
Develop and implement a succession plan for all O&M personnel.
Coach and train subordinates and monitor training requirement compliance.
Relate, communicate, and report to Operations Supervisor on daily basis.
Perform other duties that may be required from time to time.
Qualification & Requirements
Must have a BSc or HND in engineering plus relevant qualification and background with at least 5 years of experience in oil/gas E&P operations facilities.
Three years supervisory.
Must be competent in multi-disciplinary operations and maintenance in oil and gas field activities
Must be highly conversant with issuing and revalidation of PTW System.
Must demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and experience in a multi-cultural environment.
Must have an analytical mind and the ability to plan, execute measures, and review feedback.
Must have a high degree of technical aptitude, innovation, and a proven self-starter capable of motivating people.
Must have the ability to remain calm under duress and in emergency situations.
Must be proficient in the programmable logic control system (PLC)
Must be computer literate with experience working with Microsoft Office packages and other relevant
