To Provides expertise support on the maintenance and coordination of company’s mechanical equipment
Responsibilities
Applying skills and experience in mechanical (rotating and static) equipment details (design, maintenance, and operations) to ensure safe and cost-effective operations and asset integrity of oil and gas producing assets and facilities through safe operation and frontline maintenance of all mechanical equipment/rotating equipment
Preparing and implementing frontline problem-solving plans, schedules, preventive maintenance plans, and execution of first-line maintenance of all mechanical/rotating equipment including facilities and asset surveillance, inspection, and front-line maintenance of all production systems to ensure asset integrity and preventive maintenance plans are followed through for all mechanical/rotating equipment with the duty crew to provide long term target availability of the facilities
Ensuring that all mechanical/rotating equipment is available for maintenance and is isolated and delivered safely in accordance with the annual Operations and Maintenance Plan.
Locating equipment or systems faults and operating irregularities by making the necessary diagnostic tests, measurements, and analyses of all mechanical/rotating equipment to determine the nature of repairs or modifications to be made and replacement parts that will be required.
Planning and scheduling of routine statutory inspections and manufacturers' maintenance activities of all mechanical (rotating and static) equipment in line with regulatory requirements.
Recommending new continuous improvement solutions for installations and modifications to improve existing facilities and standardization in mechanical/rotating equipment.
Qualification & Requirements
BSC/HND in Mechanical Engineering with at least three (3) years of cognate experience in Oil and Gas onshore/offshore production facility.
Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components.
Skill in both verbal and written communication.
Must be a motivated self-starter who possesses high numeracy skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
Must be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Windows office suite of software.
Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Knowledge of electrical applications for the high and low-voltage electric system.
